don't get me started. this should be a great socioeconomic exploration but really it's just barbara e. massaging her own ego. "i may have been cleaning a toilet but LITTLE DID THEY KNOW WHO I AM, blah blah blah". she can't deflate her ego long enough to really let us experience what the working class do. holy rich woman's burden.
Oh! :) this book was so sweet and cute. The ending was pretty unique and bittersweet if you ask me and i liked Lucinda. She was alright :) the book put a smile on my face and it has everything ! it was really adorable. I loved the fact that this book took place in the past :) for me, that's always a PLUS !
