the first part was really stupid and unnecessary but once you actually get to the political theory it wasn't that bad
Curse this whole series. This was a great kickoff to a pretty intense...long...convoluted...long...overwhelming...long...confusing...long..wordy...long...fantastically rich world...long...series. and the damn author died before he finished it.
