maybe my opinion of this book is a little skewed by the fact that i had a huge crush on mr. cunningham when i met him in 2004. otherwise, i probably would've given it two stars. frankly, the story was boring. the book really didn't elicit much emotion from me, other than from the author's strong masculine presence of both body and words haha. i mean, it is a smart response to virginia woolf if that's what you want. so, mixed feelings. insert yellow face with a squiggly smile.
