This is actually my least favorite books, and not because of Umbridge, for she is perhaps one of the most wonderful antagonists ever. What I didn't like was the lameliness of the sorting hats song. I know Rowling can do better because it sounded like she was stumbling along without rhyme or care and then an occasional "Ope! I can rhyme this" would pop up. Also, the climax seemed a bit all over the place. Is it sacrilege to say I liked how the movie handled it better?
