Reading this with Tanner and it's fascinating!
This book was really funny. If you ever want to learn about history, but you're not great with scholarly pusuits, I'd definitely recommend this book. Very British.
Well Glass Houses is a nice, quite easy read. The characters a likeable though Claire was a big piss off. The book had its LOL moments but still it was not a thing that grabbed my attention for long. Actually now that I am looking back I realize that Glass Houses is a bit of a disappointment. Not because I had a really high expectations, but because everyone keep saying that it is so amazing. Well it is not ... Nothing new under the sun with this one. Moving forward. Truth to be told I am not sure if I am gonna read the other books of The Morganville Vampires series. I have a really low tolerance for series and though I liked the first one well enough, another 11 books may be a bit too much even for me.
A wonderful story from a dog's point of view. Careful not to read the last third in public, you will be a sobby, sobby mess.
I read this book 11 years ago & it has some good tips. Sometimes I'll re-read passages or chapters as a refresher. But I find the best way to find help with writing is to just start writing. Writing & reading. This is what has helped me along. There is only so much reading you can do on "how to write" because at some point you're going to have to write. Something to think about.
Okay, I will admit this is not the most well written book. I will admit I cringed at some of the mediocre description. And the hackneyed plot points. But I liked it.
