I gotta re read. The writing is typical of toni morrison and I was really caught up in the relationship of the woman characters because Toni is great at developing them. I didnt get that in this story. Maybe its a bit shorter than her other books but I know as with many Toni's books a re read gives more insight and understanding. OH yeah--unexpected ending. Recommend.
