Another book I read with Matthew, this was a fascinating look at the cumulative advantages that make people great. Now I finally know why Asians are superior in math: shorter syllables, better language setup for numbers, rice paddies...you should read it to see. I gave it four stars just because I thought he was a bit redundant with driving the point home about Bill Gates and a successful Jewish lawyer and Canadian hockey players. However, after reading this book, I'm finally persuaded to keep my kids where they'll be in school: the oldest in their classes. He thinks there are clear advantages to this. The heartbreak chapter was about a man with an unbelievable IQ that never reached his full potential. I like the message that a lot of people contribute to a person's success.
