This book is a cross between the styles of Philip Marlowe and William Gibson. It relies heavily on cyberpunk plot devices. Yes, if you like SciFi, this is a great read. If not, you'll just scratch your head. I liked it.
The economics of this book is not to be feared. The basic assumption being that it is the study of incentives and their major impact, and even more so, basis of our choices. What I love most about this book is the questions it asks and even more that "the answers may seem odd, but after the fact, also rather obvious."
