I really enjoyed reading this multigenerational story of four sisters. The characters are richly described in an entertaining and gripping manner that leaves you wanting to know what is going to happen next. This book does remind me in some ways of other stories of families, i.e. In the time of butterflies, One hundred years of solitude, and House of Spirits. This book was beautifully written and very engaging.
