Awesome. Please note that it may be intensely depressing to those who are afraid of loneliness, but it is definitely worth reading. Count on thinking about it long after you're done with the book. Lots of crying involved, but that's just me.
I read this as a freshmen in high school. The reading was hard for me at that time and I was a slow reader, so there were times I had to skip parts. I did like the romance and sacrifice, but I think a lot of Dickin's message about revolution was lost on me. When I think of it now, I make a lot of connections to Les Mis the musical.
