I knew upon reading the first couple of chapters of this book I had found a diamond amongst the flood of books that drown the book store. I often just wander my local book store aimlessly reading books up and down the aisles. I came upon this book, opened it, read a couple of pages, took it home, and a week later I finished with a big smile on my face. GDR's voice in this book is so vibrant and fluid that while reading this book it transported me to India, and I was truly involved in his quests and adventures. I'm glad I took this ride.
