I am in love with this book. I recommend it to everyone - strangers on the street, etc. At the time I read it, my grandmother had just died and I was having a lot of issues with "where do people GO when they die" and reading this just made me feel more... realistic (?) about death. I wrote Mary Roach an email telling her as such and she wrote me a sweet reply back. So then I loved the book, and her, even more.
