I thought it was very well written, but then again, I generally like Trillon's prose. I took away from Trillon a huge sense of appreciation of alice. I wouldn't call this book a testament to love, but a testimony of a deeply satisfying marriage. In today's world, it's not something to take lightly. And it's a good reminder that stable and successful relationships are built on more than passion. Seems like an "old" thought, but then again, tried and true.
