Not only is this book the story of my life, it's the story of how I want my life to be! No not really, but the awkward moments and the real-life-tell-it-like-it-is-with-a heavy-dose-of-Xana-I-mean-humor is exACTly what anyone who's anyone needs to read to feel as though they too have what it takes to make it in this male dominated world where women are expected not to cry and just take what's handed to them and like it. Tina Fey did a fantastic job and I hope she writes another one soon. For comparison, If you've read Chelsea Handler's Are you there vodka? It's me Chelsea and are looking for something to follow that, then you've found the right thing. If you are planning to read Bossypants and THEN Are you there vodka? It's me Chelsea, then you're setting yourself up to be disappointed. BossyPants CAN'T be BEAT! except maybe by Tina Fey appearing on a late night talk show and talking about the book herself. I'm constantly torn between lending it to everyone I know/like to read for themselves and keeping it under my pillow when I sleep at night and as a reference whenever I'm lacking something to say to one of my dear friends on Facebook. Read it for yourself and fall in love.
