i read through two thirds of this a while ago, but then needed a break and put it away. i found it well written and loved the way text and images fit together. i learned very much and will definitely finish reading it.

A fascinating telling of the whitechapel murders and the tale of jack the ripper. The tale is generally told through the eyes of the killer and the story is gleaned from the voluminous selections of JTR lore and history available. The author and illustrator do a fantastic job of bringing this horrifying story to life while explaining the intricacies of the murders, the killer, and the facts. A beautiful graphic novel and a totally engaging story with copious end notes explaining the facts from fiction and how the work was assembled. Fucking awesome.
