Höyük, bölgedeki en bu¨yu¨k orta ve geç tunç çagi yerlesimi olup IÖ ikinci binyilda Mukis Kralligi’nin baskentligini yapmistir.The Forgotten Kingdom offers a comparative look at the history of archaeology, archaeological photography and the community landscape from the early twentieth to twenty-first centuries by presenting a selection of photographs from the excavations conducted at Tell Atchana, ancient Alalakh, both in the 1930-40s and the present day. The site is located along the major branch of the Orontes River in the Amuq Valley of Hatay, near present-day Antakya in southern Turkey. This is the clinical sibling on the Arbinger shelf that I resolved to read through in 2008. Rather than a fictional story, this was in more traditional self-help format with explanations and case studies, as well as a preface explaining the breakthroughs in the author's development of the material. Those breakthroughs happened as he and his colleagues realized that the problem in their research was themselves. They couldn't discover the solution to the problem they were studying because they didn't recognize the problem in their own hearts. As part of my focused year of study on the Arbinger material, I considered this book simply another chance to get the concepts through my thick skull. I believe it was an important angle in the attempt. My mother earnestly recommends it, and I don't wonder why. It could be an important stepping stone or breakthrough for any one of us who wants to heal broken relationships.
