I enjoyed reading this book because it touched on all the emotions that held my interest without losing the emphasis of the story. The first chapter was dynamic and drew me into the book right away, however, there were a few instances where I thought simple conversations or meetings could have been said with less words. As needed as these instances are, too many idle words steal from the anxiousness of the story. Nevertheless, the author was able to continually draw the reader back into the pace of the book. This book combines the romanticism of a young man who loses his wife in an act of global violence with his quest to embark on universal religous crusade to revenge her death. It's filled with action and unexpected events that captivated my interest. Although the book isn't written in the sole view of the protagonist, I was able to feel the passion that drove the hero to fight against an enemy that not only threatened the world, but destroyed his own life. I recommend this book to everyone who enjoys reading about global uprisings that are plaguing our world today while challenging their minds for what could happen tomorrow.
