Birbirlerini görüyorlar, rüzgârın kelimelerin çoğunu uğultusuyla boğduğunu ill will ill will birbirlerine sesleniyorlar ama birbirlerine ulaşamıyorlardı. ** spoiler alert ** I can't really give a proper review of this book because I am the one that wrote it. I can be honest and give you the inside honest scoop on what it's all about and all of the details. So, we'll do this an easy way. Pros: "A Gift From Above" is a classic story with a modern twist, sibling rivalry (the main aspect of this book) goes way back for centuries and it still continues today. This book is an excellent read for all younger kids, I think, but especially for those who are about to become a big sister or a big brother. The book starts off roughly with Celia, a spoiled little girl getting everything that she wants, and then she gets a little brother, and she thought it would be great and she totally assumed everything about having a sibling completely and utterly wrong. When she is not spoiled anymore by her parents, she gets so upset that she runs away to go and find her old Nanny. It also has the first taste of tween love mixed around in there. It has just enough bits and pieces of young love that it says hey Celia's a tween she's not a little tiny girl and she is growing up and discovering the wonders of life. And she's discovering who has her back in the ending, her friends and her family. Cons: This book was a POD (print on demand) book so there are some errors and it's not one of those completely perfect books (completely readable, but there are some hidden errors here and there), there are very few errors, but, yes, they are there. Another thing that deters readers is that it's told from a female's point of view, but it's not so feminine that a boy couldn't read it and still be manly afterwards, just the fact that the main character is a girl deters readers, so, you've heard it from me, I need to say no more. This book is one of those books that aren't popular to everyone, and it isn't a complete Harry Potter type of thing, but it is one of those books that are at least worth a read.
