I have to say that after reading Twilight I was rather disappointed. After so many people had highly recommended it I thought I was going to be blown away. It wasn't that I didn't like, it was just that I wasn't that impressed. It was your typical teen romance novel with a vampire thrown in. Since I had already bought the books, I decided to keep going to see if it got better. And luckily it did. I have to say that with each passing book I enjoyed it more and more. Perhaps, the characters started to grow on me or the fact the the story seemed to develop a lot more in each novel. But I easily found myself hooked and finished all four books in less than a week. This is not the best series of books I have ever read, but if you like romance books, then give these a shot.
