I saw her in Falls Church on 3/1/09. Unfortunately, the book presentation is opposite of my philosophy of the positive. Had it been written in the voice of someone like Louise Hay, I would have been able to read the book rather than ending in in the first chapter or so.

The title was the best part about this book. While the individual vignettes about the women were interesting, the book was written in a very dry, academic manner. It felt like I was reading a college textbook in a Women's Studies class. It appeared to be very well researched, and I liked that the author included women of many races and cultures throughout the ages. She did not include any women athletes at all, which I thought was odd.
